To effectively stop your dog or cat from licking wounds, the RADIUS (depth) of this soft donut collar MUST extend beyond their snout. 1. PLEASE MEASURE the distance from your pet’s neck to the tip of their nose before selecting a size. 2. WOUND LOCATION WARNING: If your pet is a long-snouted breed (e.g., Dachshund) or the surgical wound is on their FRONT PAWS or lower legs, a soft cone may not block their reach. Please size up or consider a traditional rigid cone. Do NOT guess the size based on weight!
